Talk to them about their day

Begin by expressing your interest in your partner’s day by asking questions about his or her day. Recognize what is important to them, whether it is their work, school, family, etc, and talk about it. Do this even if you are not particularly interested in what they are saying. In the event that anything is significant to your partner, it will matter a great deal to them that you are taking the time to learn about it.

Little gestures can mean the most

Sometimes it is the smallest gestures that let your partner know that you thought about them.   This can be something as basic as pouring them a cup of coffee or writing them a message or spending the time to look for cute Personalized books for Husband or wives.  The smallest acts of kindness may make a significant difference and are much appreciated in the long term.

Acknowledge what they do

Express your appreciation to your partner for some of the things they do for you. Recognize your partner for their efforts and let them know when something is working. People are usually more than willing to go out of their way for someone they care about if they know that it is being noticed, and the positive feedback can help the other person feel appreciated.

Have separate interests and hobbies

It is great if you have matched interests, but when couples do everything together, they lose some of the identity that once made them attractive to each other. Our hobbies spark enthusiasm and energy, which adds depth to our character, and our partners will be drawn to that.  To that end, give each other some space from time to time, and then get back together to talk about your experiences.

Use small, physical touches

Every time you see your spouse, provide a warm greeting to them, as physical contact is essential to keeping the flame burning. When you are in the middle of anything, take a moment to offer each other a hug and a kiss instead of rushing in to get to the next thing.   Of course, you should ensure that this is something that both of you are comfortable with, but it is a quick and simple method to feel more bonded.
