About Kristangible

Hey, I’m Kristan. Creating is my passion, and DIYing is my outlet.

I created everything you’ll find on my site (except for the theme – graphic design and coding is not my forte). I’ve loved writing since I was 9 years old, and that love turned into blogging just a little over five years ago. I started out with my personal blog, Milk and Pancakes, in 2011. By 2014, it had morphed into Twentysomething as a way to share my DIY projects, creative non-fiction pieces, and occasionally some organization tips.

Then in January 2017, I put on my big girl pants and began my online business, Kristangible.

The name comes from my social media handle, a combination of Kristan + tangible. Everything I teach and share on my site is totally attainable and completely tangible; you can recreate any of my projects at an affordable price, and I have downloads that you can physically print to help keep your home in order! Recently I’ve had some major changes going on in life, and my blog will begin to reflect many of those changes – stick around to see some new content in a new/old niche (creative nonfiction).

When I’m not at my regular desk job being a super important office manager managing a whole person (myself), I create things.

I used to create articles as a contributor for The Bolde. You can find my posts on the site here. Recently I’ve had some work published on Thought Catalog as well, which you can read here.

I spend many of my weekends creating new DIY projects, as you can see scattered throughout my blog posts. And my favorite is, of course, creating excuses to procrastinate on the things I should be doing such as writing and editing. (Kidding.) Every now and then you’ll get some motivational messages too, and they can really inspire you just like they did for Amanda.

“This is exactly what I needed to read. Thank you so much for this! It was very encouraging. :)”

– Amanda C.
